Where is Buy Smart Carpet located?
Our showroom is at 6770 Shallowford Road, Lewisville, NC 27023. We serve homeowners across the Triad.
What are your hours?
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Saturdays we are open seasonally from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM or by appointment. We are closed on Sunday.
What types of flooring do you sell?
Carpet, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), luxury vinyl tile (LVT) and sheet vinyl, all stocked on-site in our 5,000 square foot showroom.
Can you order a style you do not have in stock?
Yes. Items we do not stock can usually be shipped to our showroom in five days or less.
Do you install the flooring?
Yes. Our installers are highly experienced, with more than 20 years in the flooring industry.
How long has Buy Smart Carpet been in business?
Since 1999. Buy Smart Carpet was founded by Fred Michael and incorporated in December 1999.
How do I figure out how much flooring I need?
Multiply each room's length by its width in feet, add the rooms together, and add about 10% for cuts and waste. Carpet is sold by the square yard, so divide square feet by 9. Bring your measurements to the showroom and we will confirm exact quantities.
Is carpet or LVP better for my home?
It depends on the room. Carpet is warmer, softer and quieter for bedrooms and stairs. LVP handles water, pets and heavy traffic better in kitchens and basements. Our Carpet vs. LVP guide compares them side by side.
